At BITĖ, the Junior QA Engineer plays an important role in supporting the quality assurance process by executing test cases, reporting bugs, and learning best practices in software testing. This position is ideal for someone starting their QA career, with a keen eye for detail, a willingness to learn, and a proactive attitude toward teamwork and problem-solving.

Your Responsibilities:

Technical Skills

• Execute manual test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria
• Use test management tools like Factory or Excel-based repositories
• Identify and log bugs clearly in tracking systems
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes
• Learn and perform basic API testing using tools like Postman
• Run simple SQL queries to check data accuracy (optional)

Soft Skills

• Spot visual and functional inconsistencies across different environments
• Ask questions, seek feedback, and actively learn from more experienced QA engineers
• Share findings clearly with the team and participate in Agile ceremonies
• Work closely with developers, product owners, and other QA team members
• Handle changing priorities and support urgent testing needs with a positive attitude

Job Requirements

• Up to 1 year of experience in manual testing
• Familiarity with software development and QA concepts
• Basic understanding of Agile methodologies
• Eagerness to grow in the QA field
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
