programming language with Symfony framework, this is the perfect opportunity. You will be paired with a dedicated Senior Developer and you'll be actively contributing to our successful e-commerce platform
and critical internal systems under the guidance of experienced Senior Developers. Your main tasks will be: This role is a blend of system evolution, new feature development, and ensuring our existing architecture remains robust and scalable.
- System Development & Feature Implementation:
Collaborate with the team to understand business requirements and build smaller, well-defined technical solutions that directly impact our business.
- Code Quality & Optimization: Write clean, testable code and learn the importance of testing and maintenance.
- Maintenance & Integration: Assist in maintaining and improving existing e-commerce and internal systems, helping with minor bug fixes and feature enhancements.
- Growth & Collaboration: Participate in constructive code reviews (both giving and receiving), share knowledge, and contribute to team-wide best practices. We believe continuous learning is key.
What do we expect? We understand that as a Junior, you may not have extensive professional experience. We prioritize a strong aptitude for learning and solid foundational knowledge.
- Foundational Knowledge: Solid academic, boot camp, or personal project experience with PHP and JavaScript.
- Web Fundamentals: Understanding the basics of web architecture, including REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and HTML/CSS.
- Database Familiarity: Understanding of relational databases and basic SQL (specifically MySQL).
- Version Control: Familiarity with Git (knowing the basics of committing, branching, and merging).
- Communication: Good English language skills (both written and spoken) and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Aptitude: A proven willingness and strong desire to learn complex systems and modern development techniques.
A Major Plus:
- Symfony Framework: Direct experience or strong familiarity with the Symfony framework (or a similar modern MVC framework like Laravel).
- Advanced Tools: Knowledge of containerization (Docker), message queuing (Redis, Kafka), or search technologies (Elasticsearch).
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with front-end frameworks like VueJS.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI/CD) and deployment workflows.
- Exposure to Kubernetes or microservices
architecture.
